I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! winner


McFly star Dougie Poynter was declared the winner of this year's I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! over the weekend. 
The musician beat his close friend and former The Only Way Is Essex star Mark Wright to be crowned King Of The Jungle - a title which he unsecured loans will hold alongside the likes of Tony Blackburn and Joe Swash.
As the results were announced, the two finalists were seen in a tight embrace, after which Poynter took his seat on the throne and handed his crown while a gracious Wright sat opposite.
Speaking to Ant & Dec after his win, the bass guitarist, said: "I'm lost for words. It's been the best couple of weeks of my life, I wish everyone in the world could experience that."
The 24-year-old star, who once dated The Saturdays singer Frankie Sandford, later admitted that he thought he "would be the first out".
After Poynter collected his crown, he was reunited with his McFly bandmate Tom Fletcher, who had flown out to meet him after supporting their drummer Harry Judd the previous week on BBC's Strictly Come Dancing.
Finishing a close third and fourth in the bad credit loans competition were athlete Fatima Whitbread and Antony Cotton respectively.
Poynter is the eighth male winner since the show began in 2002. He inherits his crown from last year's winner Stacey Solomon.
